There are new bylaws this year. Please review for rule changes. You may also want to keep a copy of the inclement weather policy with you for reference at games.
WFLYSL Officials, the season starts full speed soon.
Please check your Arbiter account on a regular basis, keep your availability up to date as there surely will be changes.
Remember that there is helpful information on the WFLYSL.com site. You can find Referee procedures, better field directions than those on The Arbiter and Coaches contact numbers on the league site.
We are using High School substitution rules for the WFLYSL, these rules are as follows:
Substitutions are unlimited for all Goal Kicks and after a scored goal.
On throw-ins if the team taking the throw subs the defensive team can also substitute.
Corner Kicks, If the Offensive team subs the defensive team may also sub.
Injuries, if the injured player is tended to by a coach they must come off one for one, all players that were waiting to sub at the time of the injury may enter.
Please remember that the weather is Hot and stormy during our season. If both Coaches would rather play a game split into quarters instead of halves to give the players more breaks please allow this. Adhere strictly to the Thunder and Lightning policy which is on the WFLYSL site. Protect our Players.
